Betrayal and Glory (John 13:18-38)
Represent Jesus with happy service!
- We are chosen with privilege
We are chosen to be Jesus’ disciples, servants, and friends!
Don’t take your call for granted!
Reflect on Jesus’ sacrifice to love and honor us, and draw near in the fellowship He gives!
- We are challenged with hope
There is severe darkness in this world!
- God works in the midst of darkness and overcomes it!
- We depend on the Light of the World!
- Jesus enables us to understand and follow Him.
- We are commissioned with love
The commandment is not new! (Leviticus 19:18, Matthew 22:39)
The standard is new – not as we love ourselves, but as Jesus loves us!
Love is sacrificially giving yourself – as Jesus did on the cross!
New identity – defined and distinguished by LOVE.
