1.With a timing that teaches us patience

Even when we’re desperate… God’s timing is perfect!

Savor God’s grace in the waiting, which is best until He plans otherwise.

Learn dependence on Jesus: in the asking, in the waiting, and in the receiving!

2.With a call that requires our trust

Will you act in obedient faith… even when you don’t understand?

There is purpose in the process!

Our obedience doesn’t earn or accomplish God’s grace, but receives and enjoys it!

3.With a glory that confirms His deity

Do you crave God’s glory? (1 Corinthians 10:31, Romans 3:23)

Jesus has a glory yet to be revealed, at his “hour” (John 12:27, John 17:1).

The disciples saw Jesus’ glory (John 1:14) – in His miracles (John 2:11), and especially in His crucifixion (John 12:27).

We can see Jesus’ glory now, in the gospel! (2 Corinthians 4:4)
