Arriving on time, or the fruit of the Spirit?
Raising your kids, or the fruit of the Spirit?
Christ’s mission, or the fruit of the Spirit?

What is “you who are spiritual”?
If the Holy Spirit has given us life, then let us function in that way!
TOGETHER we seek to crucify and not gratify fleshly desires.
Seek to grow and uphold Christlike character… and nurture it in others also!

We cultivate fruit better together!

1. Stop competing

Have you lost sight of what is important?  The fruit of the Spirit builds into relationships!
Choose a team mentality.  There is no place for “me against you.”
We’re in this together!  My brother’s victory is my victory.

2. Support others

Restore those overtaken by sin!

• Pursue your church family with meekness.
• Win the brother, not the argument.

Carry each other’s burdens!

• Sacrifice comfort for pain and messiness.
• Foster a healthy dependence on the church.

Christ’s law is love! (John 13:34, Galatians 5:14)

3. Watch yourself

With a realistic self-appraisal! (Romans 12:3)
Check yourself first! (Matthew 7:3-5)
Glory in the cross, not in comparison! (Gal 6:14)
Own your responsibilities!
Gratefully receive confrontation!
