Turn your heart back to God!

1. He has chosen His people 30-32

The provision of sacrificial atonement is an amazing blessing!

• Covenant – God establishes, calls, and sets apart a people to represent and live for Him.
• Grace – a holy God enables a sinful people to keep fellowship with Him
• Unity – God enables His people to come together

Jesus accomplished atonement once for all on the cross! (1 Peter 3:18)

2. He has given His Word 31, 36-37

God’s Word defines and distinguishes us!
God’s Word instructs and directs us!
God accomplishes His purpose through His Word! (Isaiah 55:10-11)
-->NOT through our empty and formulaic rituals!

3. He has shown His power 38-40

Our God is a consuming fire! (Dt 4:24)

• God never sleeps Ps 121:4-5
• God never takes vacation Isa 40:28
• God is not confused Rom 11:33, 1 Cor 1:25
• God never fails Josh 21:45

Put God’s power to work to CUT OFF sin, idolatry, and temptation! (Ephesians 1:19)
