Navigate life by God’s valuable Word!

1. Living in relationship with God 1-8

Wisdom is relationally imparted – from God to us and from God through us.
Knowing God’s character and will moves us to healthy fear (reverence, awe).
Worship of God empowers our wisdom and illuminates our direction.
We must model a hunger for God’s Word that pursues and listens to truth!

2. Avoiding the paths of destruction 12-19a

The world has powerful, alluring, deadly attraction!
Every decision now shapes us in all of life.
The young and inexperienced can and must learn from others! (Proverbs 1:4, 14:15)
There is a desperate need for godly influence, through loving and warning!

3. Following the paths of life 8-11, 19b-21

God’s way brings pleasure (2:10), refreshment (3:8), and reward (2:21)!
Wisdom, character, and patterns established now strengthen us for life!
The wisdom we seek is a person: Jesus! (Colossians 2:3)
Taste and see that the Lord is good! (Psalm 34:8)
