God created with authority, speaking creation into existence.
God created with organization, separating into order by His design.
God created with purpose, uniquely reasoning how and why He created.

Marvel at the grandeur and intricacies of God’s creation!

1. God composed day and night 3-5, 14-19

God’s purpose for these lights:

• Give light on earth
• Rule over day and night
• Separate light from darkness
• To signify seasons, days, and years

2. God composed sea and sky 6-8, 20-23

God fashions an adequate atmosphere to sustain life on earth.
God grants the blessing of fertility, and commands reproduction on the earth.
Kind = basic reproductive boundary of an organism.

3. God composed land and inhabitants 9-13, 24-31

God created a mature earth with reproductive ability.
A soul is a living, breathing, bleeding creature. (Genesis 1:30, Leviticus 17:11)
God uniquely designs the creatures of the earth to dwell in relationship to one another!
