Jesus came to conquer in war!

1. Stand for truth 35-36

The agony of broken relationships is one of the biggest sorrows of Christmastime!
Beware of preserving relationships at the cost of truth!
Jesus gives peace amidst a hostile world!
Expect division and hatred when you follow Jesus!

2. Prioritize your love 37

Jesus does NOT want to stop our love!
Jesus deserves supremacy in the lives of His disciples!
Properly prioritizing our love helps us accomplish a deeper and truer love!
I can love others BETTER when I love Jesus first!

3. Plan to sacrifice 38-39

We are part of a war.  Which side are you on?
The cross is your most effective “sword” in this war!
Love is the motive for carrying our cross!
Sacrifice your desires, preferences, ways for God’s BEST in your life!
