Our God probes hearts!

1. Confronting with His character

How does your theology shape your heart?

God reveals His heart and exposes Jonah’s heart!

We don’t define God… and God doesn’t answer to us.

2. Revealing selfish orientation

Do you do well to be angry?

Selfish anger wants my purpose, my way, in my timing.

Fruitful anger moves toward God’s purpose, God’s way, in God’s timing… with a godly response.

God’s greatest anger was expressed in selfless sacrifice.

3. Giving fresh perspective

Selfish anger is short-sighted!

  • Forgets God’s mercy
  • Eclipses God’s blessings
  • Exalts selfish desires

4. Offering better satisfaction

Selfish anger extinguishes joy!

God is looking not only for service but for our hearts!

Satisfaction is fleeting with selfish desires, but overflowing when desiring God.
