Man vs Animal

God makes man:

  • With authority
  • With rationality
  • With morality
  • In His image

Humbly uphold God’s image!

  1. Steward God’s creation 26

Everything on the earth belongs to God! (Psalm 24:1-2)
God has entrusted it all to our care. (Psalm 115:16)
Creation is for our good and God’s glory!
We must worship our Creator rather than His creation! (Romans 1:25)

  1. Enjoy God’s blessing 28

God set us apart from among all the splendor of His creation! (Psalm 8:3-5)
God created us for relationships!
God designed and established marriage and gender!
God commissions and empowers us to reproduce!

  1. Represent God’s character 26-27, 31

Sin corrupts the image of God in man.
God designed us to be moral, and holds us accountable.
Value every human life! There is no place for murder, abortion, racism, or hatred!
Jesus restores God’s image in believers! (Colossians 1:15, 3:10, Romans 8:29)
