Choose this day whom you will serve!

1. The God who is able 20-23

Beware of anchoring your trust in all that is unable! (Psalm 115:4-8)
Beware of putting God in a box… He is able, but His way is better! (Ephesians 3:20-21, Isaiah 55:8-9)
God is not limited (Jeremiah 32:17) – by anything or anyone!

2. The God who answers 24-26

Learning to abide with God in prayer takes hard work!  But it’s worth it!
Guard against Baalistic thinking:

• I need to get God’s attention
• If I do more, God will bless me

God delights in hearing our prayers! (Jeremiah 29:12, 1 John 5:14)

3. The God who is there 27-29

No other god can help us because no other god exists! (1 Corinthians 8:4)
Beware of replacing God with something tangible instead! (Ex 20:4)
God is present with His people! (Psalm 23:4, 139:7-10)
