The fruit of the Spirit is the character of Jesus!
Transformation is inside-out:

• from the roots of a relationship with God
• to the inward character
• to the outward expression of fruit.

Follow the Spirit’s leading to cultivate Jesus’ character!

1. Empowered by the Spirit

The Holy Spirit actively works in believers to transform us to be more like Jesus!

• Leading (Galatians 5:18, 25)
• Convicting (John 16:8)
• Perfecting (Galatians 3:3)
• Using His sword, the Word of God (Ephesians 6:17)

2. Pursued by believers

This character is also commanded in Scripture!
We need to cultivate our lives for growing in these qualities. (Matthew 13:18-23)
This fruit grows when we abide in Jesus. (John 15:4-5)

3. Recognized by others

This fruit is a visible representation of Jesus in our lives! (Matthew 7:15-20)
Our relationships are the testing ground for demonstrating Christlike character!
