RUN!

• From unrighteousness to righteousness
• From misplaced trust to trust anchored in truth
• From counterfeit love to true love
• From counterfeit peace to true peace

Beware of hating people by tolerating destructive living!

1. They are trapped by Satan 26

Satan appeals to our sin nature. (Ephesians 2:1-3)
Satan seeks individual ruin. (1 Peter 5:8, James 4:7)
Satan seeks to thwart God’s plans in the gospel. (2 Corinthians 4:4)
Hope is in the blood of the Lamb! (Revelation 12:11)

2. They are ignorant of truth 25

Receiving, grasping, and caring about truth is not automatic or easy!
God can work through our correction:

• Producing fruit in us
• Producing repentance & knowledge in others

3. They are perpetuating evil 24

Foolish controversy: Can God create a stone so heavy that He can't lift it?
DANGER:

• Lusts are preferred and pursued.
• Evil is excused and justified.

Endure: “Tolerate” by being patient
Correct: Be “intolerant” by addressing evil

Love people with challenging, meaningful conversations!
