• Displays Jesus’ victory
• Accomplishes our hope

Who is worthy?

Worthy – comparable, proper, fitting… of equal value, worth, or merit
The Father is worthy (Revelation 4:11)
The Son is worthy (Revelation 5:12)

Fall in worship of Jesus who is worthy!

1. We are desperately unworthy 1-4

The world is under Satan’s rule, in need of an overcomer.
Even the most humble are unworthy (John 1:27).
We are limited in knowledge, ability, integrity, devotion, and selflessness!
We depend on God who formulated His plan and fulfills His plan.

2. Jesus is the mighty Conqueror 5-8

Jesus is omnipotent (all-powerful), omniscient (all-knowing), and omnipresent (all-present)!
Jesus defeated Satan and conquered sin and death!
Jesus is the majestic King who rules over all.
Jesus will execute judgment on the earth.

3. Jesus is the slain Lamb 9-14

Jesus was slain once and for all (1 Peter 3:18) – His sacrifice is still powerful and relevant!
Jesus lived a life of weakness, poverty, shame, and ridicule, becoming our curse – but now He receives all that He is worthy of!
Everyone will sing His worship (Philippians 2:9-11).
